Greenwich, Connecticut-based Spire Orthopedic Partners has announced the hiring of marketing executive Nicole Monsky as the organization’s first Chief Marketing Officer. Spire is a management services organization made up of a national partnership of orthopedic practices aiming to provide support and financial resources needed for physicians to grow and expand their practices.

The hire reflects Spire’s continued growth and evolution. Recently, Spire added Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS), Connecticut Neck & Back Specialists (CTNB), Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset and Orthopedic Associates of Middletown.

Monsky told OTW, “I’m most excited about the opportunity to expand our brand as a physician majority owned platform during a time of truly unprecedented growth for our company. Last year, we welcomed three new practices to our partnership, and we have several new partnerships on the horizon in 2022. I know from experience that a strong brand has the potential to accelerate growth in meaningful ways, ranging from attracting market-leading physician partners to further advancing patient care to building a strong culture internally. As we grow and healthcare rapidly evolves, we have an extraordinary opportunity to further strengthen and expand our brand in all of these ways.”

Monsky brings extensive marketing, advertising and leadership experience to Spire. In her most recent role, she was vice president of marketing for Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), leading marketing approaches to promote strategic growth for the ortho provider. Previous to her role at HSS, Monsky expanded business portfolios, new customer acquisition and provided brand management at American Express.

Founded over 100 years ago, the Spire Orthopedic Partners network now encompasses 50 physicians, 450 employees and 10 locations in the Northeast. Spire serves leading orthopedic and spine physicians and promotes a patient-centered model of care. Spire’s network of providers offers a range of orthopedic healthcare, including ancillary services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nicole to our company during a time of unprecedented growth and expansion,” said Spire CEO Dr. Tim Corvino. “Her proven expertise in marketing and branding will further advance our physicians’ growth goals and accelerate the development of a national brand that attracts market-leading surgeons and our innovative approach to clinical excellence.”

When OTW asked Monsky about her goals for 2022, she told us, “One of my most important goals for the New Year is to support the growth of our physician practices. Specifically, I’d like to help them grow patient volumes so they can provide clinically advanced, highly personalized care in as many local communities as possible. In addition, I think we have a great opportunity to help our practices raise awareness with consumers so that when they need care, they know there are high quality physician-led alternatives to their local hospital systems.”
